Mahankali Temple and Bazaar Walk
Duration: 1.5 hours
All days of the week except Sundays
What this tour is about: This is a short walk in the neighbourhood of Kalasiguda in Secunderabad's General Bazaar. The market was created in the early 1800s soon after the establishment of Secunderabad
If you have an evening to spare and would like a short walk through this predominantly Hindu area, then this walk is perfect. Tourists don’t usually come to this part of Hyderabad so it’s the perfect opportunity to “shop like a local”. General Bazaar truly lives up to its name and offers everything under the sun!
For those who wish to try a fine sample of Hyderabadi biryani, the famous Paradise restaurant is only a few minutes' walk away. Ask the guide to take you there at the end of the tour.
